About Weeding the Garden of Eden
Weeding the Garden of Eden is a memoir of a boy growing up in Oklahoma, listening to train whistles in the night and wondering about the world beyond Noble County. It follows him through a career in ministry across his home state, and around the world. Told with wit, and touching human stories, readers enter the richness of a pastor’s life and meet the wondrous variety of souls present in the congregations he served.
Weeding the Garden of Eden is a United Methodist minister's journey from childhood days through college, seminary and sixty years as pastor, teacher and church leader.
