Ken Hada has six books of poetry in print (along with two ebooks). Ken’s collection, Bring an Extry Mule, received the 2017 SCMLA Prize for poetry.
In addition, four of his poems have been featured on the NPR program, The Writer’s Almanac. His book, Spare Parts, received the Wrangler Award from the National Western Heritage Museum. His work has also been recognized as finalist for the Spur Award from the Western Writers of America, and a three-time finalist for the Oklahoma Book award. Last April, Ken received the Glenda Carlile Distinguished Service Award from the Oklahoma Center for the Book.
